Welcome to Jibble’s attendance app for fraud prevention!
Eliminating fraudulent clock in’s and buddy punching is just as important as tracking your team’s attendance. With the right setup, you won’t have to worry about unauthorized time entries and inaccurate timesheets.
This checklist will walk you through Jibble’s fraud prevention settings step by step to get your team tracking time securely and accurately.
1. Identity Verification
Require Facial Recognition/selfies – Verify identity at every clock in and clock out to prevent buddy punching.
Flag or block unusual activity – Flag or block suspicious activity when facial recognition fails.
2. Location Accuracy
Enable live location tracking – Ensure staff are at the right job sites in real time.
Require GPS tracking with time entries – Record GPS locations with every clock in/out.
Enable geofencing and assign locations to work schedules – Allow staff to clock in within authorized job sites only based on their shift schedule.
Enforce geofence automation – Automate clock-ins/outs only within authorized zones to stop off-site punching.
Note: You can only enable either live location tracking or geofence automation at one time, not both simultaneously.
3. Device Security
Configure device restrictions – Limit clock ins to approved methods and devices to prevent unauthorized access.
Offline mode – Disable offline clock ins to prevent false entries when devices are not connected to the internet.
Enable device lock – Prevent clock ins/outs from unauthorized mobile devices.
4. Timesheet Integrity
Set up pay periods and approvals – Ensure timesheets are reviewed and locked before payroll.
Set up work schedule restrictions – Eliminate late clock ins and early clock outs for fixed work schedules by enforcing restrictions in your Time Tracking settings.
5. On-site Kiosks
If you would like a centralized way to keep track of employees on physical sites, you can set up and switch to Kiosk mode:
Create kiosks – Set up and place shared kiosks at site entrances for secure crew clock-ins.
Configure kiosk settings – Choose your preferred verification method and settings for secure clock ins:
- Facial Recognition Mode – Face verification with spoofing prevention and selfie capture.
- Speed Face Recognition Mode – Quick, touchless face verifications
- NFC Mode – Tap unique NFC tags for secure clock in/out.
- Basic Mode – Simplified clock in/out process with PIN verification and more.
6. Notifications and Alerts
Enable unusual time clock behavior alerts – Get notified on unusual behavior such as face recognition mismatch and late clock ins.
Geofence reminders for managers – Receive alerts when members exit authorized geofence locations.
7. Start tracking your crew’s attendance
With fraud-prevention settings in place and your crew onboarded, members can now securely clock in and out from authorized devices and locations – ensuring accurate records while eliminating fraud.
