This Article Covers:

1. Jibble Time Card Calculator

Jibble’s free time card calculator is easy to figure out and use. Simply plug in your start time and end time, as well as the start time and end time of your breaks. The tool will then calculate the total number of hours worked, which appears in hours and minutes as well as in decimal form.

The Jibble calculator also has a section for calculating overtime, which helps ensure that your business stays compliant with FLSA overtime guidelines. There’s an option for you to choose which overtime laws to factor into your calculations, including FLSA overtime laws, California state overtime laws, and Canada ESDC laws. In addition, you have the option of rounding to 5 minutes, 6 minutes, and 10 minutes, as well as the option to go from a weekly time card to a biweekly time card.

This is a customizable and flexible time card calculator that helps businesses make sure that they have accurate timekeeping records for accurate payroll.

Key Time Card Calculator Features

  • Allows you to input the start and end times of breaks
  • Customizable base pay rate and currency
  • Weekly or biweekly calculations
  • Allows you to input overtime pay rate
  • 12-hour or 24-hour format options
  • Option to round to 5, 6, or 10 minutes
  • Shareable via a link

2. Clockify Time Card Calculator

Clockify offers one of the most flexible and comprehensive free time card calculators I’ve seen. You can input the exact duration of breaks, allowing for more accurate time tracking and pay calculation. You can also choose whether or not you want the tool to calculate pay as well as the number of overtime hours. Furthermore, you’ll be able to input the employee’s hourly wage as well as the overtime pay rate.

There isn’t much that I don’t like about this time card calculator. It’s easy to use, it has a clean interface, and it allows you toggle several options on and off.

Key Time Card Calculator Features

  • Option to input the start and end times of breaks
  • Customizable base pay rate and currency
  • Allows you to input overtime pay rate
  • 12-hour or 24-hour format options
  • Printable and can be exported as a CSV file

3. Calculator.net Time Card Calculator

There’s a lot you can do with Calculator.net’s time card calculator, even though its interface looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 2000s. Don’t let the outdated appearance fool you, however; this calculator is highly useful, versatile, and can be adapted to different kinds of businesses.

First, the calculator allows you to round time to the nearest 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, and 1 hour. You can also choose whether or not to include payment information, including the employee’s hourly wage and overtime pay rate. In addition, you can copy the first day’s values to automatically fill in the values for the rest of the week’s work days. Once you’re done, you can save the values to the browser you’re using.

While I really like this calculator, I do wish that its interface can be improved. It looks way too outdated, but it works well so I can’t complain much. However, I also wish that there was an option to export the time card as a spreadsheet or a PDF file. Right now, you only have the option to print out the time card, which I don’t think is sufficient.

Key Time Card Calculator Features

  • Allows you to copy the previous day’s time entries
  • Includes options for rounding up or down
  • Base pay rate and overtime pay rate
  • Can be saved to the browser
  • Printable time card

4. Time Clock Wizard Time Card and Payroll Calculator

Time Clock Wizard’s time card calculator has a simple and clean interface that belies a customizable and flexible tool. With just one click, you can toggle overtime calculations on and off. You can also choose to calculate weekly or biweekly wages, as well as add the base hourly wage. In addition, it can give you a breakdown of regular and overtime hours, as well as a breakdown of regular and overtime pay.

I like how clean the interface is, but what I don’t like is that there’s no option to export the time card. You can only print it out, which isn’t helpful for businesses that need a digital file to work with.

Key Time Card Calculator Features

  • Base pay rate and overtime pay rate
  • Adjustable time clock format
  • Includes breakdown of regular pay and overtime pay
  • Weekly or biweekly calculations
  • Printable time card

5. Buddy Punch Time Card Calculator

Buddy Punch’s free time card calculator is a lot like Clockify’s. It’s versatile and offers a lot of customization options. You can choose whether or not to include overtime hours and overtime pay in your calculations, input hourly salary and overtime pay rate, and calculate weekly or biweekly rates. In addition, you can input the exact clock-in and clock-out times as well as the exact duration of break times.

The page also includes step-by-step instructions on how to use the calculator on the right side of the tool. However, I would have preferred it if the instructions were positioned below the calculator instead so it wouldn’t take up too much space on the page. The calculator is intuitive and easy to use, so you won’t always need to refer to the instructions anyway.

Key Time Card Calculator Features

  • Allows you to input the start and end times of breaks
  • Includes options for rounding up or down
  • Allows you to input overtime pay rate
  • Weekly or biweekly calculations
  • Includes breakdown of regular pay and overtime pay
  • Printable time card

6. Toggl Time Card Calculator

What I liked about Toggl’s free time card calculator is that you can round up or down to the nearest 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour. You can also choose not to round up or down at all, which allows for exact time and pay calculations.

However, the tool only allows you to input time in the 24-hour format. Other calculators allow you to choose between the 12-hour format or the 24-hour format, which I would have also liked to see Toggl’s calculator offer.

Key Time Card Calculator Features

  • Allows you to input base and overtime pay rate
  • Includes options for rounding up or down
  • Printable time card

7. CalculateHours Time Card Calculator

If you’re looking for a simpler time card calculator that doesn’t have too many bells and whistles, the CalculateHours tool is a good choice. It will allow you to input the employee’s hourly rate, so it can also calculate how much an employee has earned in a work week. It will also show the total hours worked in decimal form or hh:mm format.

However, the calculator doesn’t allow you to input overtime pay rates. It also won’t calculate overtime hours. Thus, I think it’s a good choice if your employees aren’t paid overtime. On the other hand, if they’re entitled to overtime pay, you’ll have to make the calculations for that yourself.

Key Time Card Calculator Features

  • Decimal and hh:mm time entry format
  • Printable and can be emailed

8. TimeClick Free Time Card Calculator

TimeClock’s time card calculator is an easy-to-use tool that will add up all of the hours an employee has worked during a specific week. It’s simpler than many of the other calculators on this list and is designed to calculate regular hours worked as well as overtime hours.

Unfortunately, it won’t be able to calculate an employee’s regular pay as well as overtime pay. You’ll have to calculate that yourself. However, if you only wanted to calculate the number of hours an employee has worked, this calculator will be able to do that for you.

In general, I liked how simple and streamlined this calculator is. However, you only have the option to send an email a PDF of the time card. It would have been better if users were able to download the time card straight from the page instead of having to go through the extra step of retrieving the file from your email.

Key Time Card Calculator Features

  • Allows you to input minimum overtime hours
  • Breaks down regular hours and overtime hours
  • Generates a PDF that can be emailed

9. Time Clock MTS Free Biweekly Timecard Calculator

While other time card calculators allow the option of a weekly or biweekly time card, Time Clock MTS’s tool is a biweekly calculator by default. You can enter the clock-in time and clock-out time per work day, then input the total number of hours and minutes of breaks.

This is a simple, no-frills tool that will calculate the overall number of hours worked over the span of two weeks. One thing to note is that the calculator won’t calculate pay, and it also won’t provide a breakdown of overtime hours. Additionally, it only allows you to print the time card, and you won’t be able to download a digital file.

Overall, it’s a good option for businesses that don’t need to calculate overtime hours and pay, and it can also help you keep accurate records of hours worked.

Key Time Card Calculator Features

  • Allows you to add notes per day
  • Weekly or biweekly calculations
  • Printable time card

10. DeskTime Time Card Calculator

DeskTime’s free time card calculator is simple to use and allows you to input the exact clock-in and clock-out times as well as the exact duration of breaks. One particular thing I liked about it is that it allows you to add multiple projects per day to the timeline. You can thus keep track of what your employees are working on during the week.

However, that’s about it. You can’t really customize the calculator much and you also won’t be able to input the hourly wage and overtime pay rate. Thus, you’ll have to do regular pay and overtime pay calculations yourself.

Key Time Card Calculator Features

  • Allows you to add several projects per day to the timeline
  • Exportable as a CSV file
