Using Jibble in Claude

What is Jibble MCP?

Jibble MCP connects your AI assistant to your Jibble workspace, so you can do things like clock in, log time, or request leave just by asking.

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that enables AI assistants to securely connect with external tools.


Requirements and availability

Who can use this feature?

Jibble MCP is available to all users, with access depending on their role:

  • Members can track time, view timesheets, and manage their leave
  • Managers and Admins can additionally approve requests, view team data, and manage workspace settings
Before you begin

Make sure you have:

  • An active Jibble account — sign up here if you don’t have one yet
  • An account on Claude

Note: No API keys or tokens are needed. Jibble MCP uses secure OAuth authentication, so you’ll simply log in with your Jibble credentials during setup.


Connecting Jibble to Claude

The setup process depends on your Claude plan. Follow the steps for your account type below.

For Pro and Max plans
  1. Go to Claude and sign in.
  2. Click Customize in the left sidebar.Clicking on Customize on the left menu on Claude
  3. Select Connectors.Clicking on Connectors in Claude
  4. Click +, then select Add custom connector.
  5. Enter the following:
    • Name: Jibble
    • URL: https://mcp.jibble.io
  6. Click Add.Add button under Add custom connectors
  7. Sign in to Jibble and authorize access.Popp-up message to sign in to Jibble and authorize access
  8. You’re all set! Start a new chat and try a prompt like “Clock me in for today”.

For Team and Enterprise plans (Owner setup)

On Team and Enterprise plans, setup is a two-part process. An Owner or Primary Owner must first add the connector to the organization. Then, each member connects individually.

  1. Go to Claude and sign in.
  2. Navigate to Organization Settings.
  3. Select Connectors.
  4. Click Add.
  5. Hover over Custom, then select Web.
  6. Enter the URL: https://mcp.jibble.io
  7. Click Add.

For Team and Enterprise members (after Owner setup)

Once the Owner has added the connector, each team member needs to connect to it:

  1. Click Customize in the left sidebar.Clicking on Customize on the left menu on Claude
  2. Select Connectors.
  3. Find Jibble in the list (it will have a “Custom” label).
  4. Click Connect to authenticate.
  5. Sign in to Jibble and authorize access when prompted.Popp-up message to sign in to Jibble and authorize access
  6. You’re all set! Start a new chat and try a prompt like “Clock me in for today”.

Once connected, you can use natural language to interact with Jibble.
