Installing Jibble’s Chrome Extension

  1. Open Google Chrome and go to the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Search for Jibble Time Tracker.

  4. Once installed, a Jibble icon should appear in your Chrome toolbar.
  5. Click on the puzzle piece located in your Chrome toolbar.

  1. Open Evernote and log in to your Evernote account.
  2. Click the Jibble icon in your Chrome toolbar.
  3. Log in to your Jibble account or create an account if you’re new to Jibble.
  4. In the top right corner of the extension, click on the three horizontal lines.
  5. Tap on Integrations.

Tracking time in Evernote

Now that the extension is installed and Evernote is integrated, let’s explore the different methods for tracking time within Evernote using Jibble.

  • Using the embedded Jibble timer 

  1. Open up Evernote and navigate to the note or task you want to track time for.

  3. Click on the Jibble in button.
  4. A small pop-up window will open for you to choose an activity and project, if needed.
  5. Notes will be prefilled based on the titles of your notes or tasks in Evernote.

  • Using keyboard shortcuts

  1. Click on the Jibble icon in your Chrome toolbar.
  2. Click on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner and tap on Settings.

  4. Once enabled, use the shortcut command Ctrl+Shift+s on Windows or Command+Shift+S on Mac to clock in. 
  5. Use the same keyboard commands to clock out.

Note: When utilizing keyboard shortcuts to clock in, the activity and project previously used (if applicable) will be tagged. There won’t be any input for notes.


  • Using right clicks

  1. Right click on your mouse and select Jibble | Clock in from the menu.Right click clock in Evernote

Note: With right click clock ins, the previously used activity and project (if any) will be tagged. There won’t be any input for notes.


  • Using text highlighting

  3. Select an activity and project if needed.
