Installing Jibble’s Chrome Extension

  1. Launch your Google Chrome browser and open up the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Search for Jibble Time Tracker.
  3. Click on “Add to Chrome” to install the extension.Adding Jibble time tracking extension to chrome
  4. Once the installation is complete, a Jibble icon should appear in your browser’s toolbar.
  5. To access the extension window, click on the puzzle piece icon located at the top right corner of your Chrome toolbar.
  6. Click the pin icon next to Jibble’s Time Tracker to affix the extension to your browser for convenient and easy access.Pinning Jibble time tracking extension to chrome

  1. Access your Notion account and log in.
  2. Click the Jibble icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the timer extension.Accessing Jibble chrome extension in Notion
  3. Sign in to your Jibble account or create a new account if you don’t have one.
  4. Click on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner to access your Account Setting.

Tracking time in Notion

Jibble’s Time Tracker offers several efficient ways to track your time directly within Notion.

  • Using the embedded Jibble timer 

  1. Navigate to the page or project you wish to track time for within Notion.
  2. Within the page view, you will see the “Jibble in” button.
  3. Click on the Jibble in button to start tracking time.Jibble in button in Notion
  4. Select an activity and project if required.
  5. Notes will be prefilled based on page titles in Notion.

  7. Once clocked in, the timer button will be automatically updated to “Jibble out”.Jibble out button in Notion
  8. To stop the timer, click on the Jibble out button and tap on Save.Saving out time entries in Notion

  • Using keyboard shortcuts

  1. Click on the Jibble icon in your Chrome toolbar.
  2. Tap on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner and click on Settings.Accessing settings on chrome extension Notion
  3. Enable Keyboard Shortcuts. Enabling keyboard shortcuts on chrome extension
  4. Once enabled, use the shortcut command Ctrl+Shift+s on Windows or Command+Shift+S on Mac to clock in. 
  5. Once clocked in, use the same command to clock out.

Note: The previously used activity and project (if any) will be tagged when clocking in via keyboard shortcuts. There will be no notes to be added.


  • Using right clicks
